Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger

Our brazed plate heat exchangers have been widely used in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning due to their small volume and high heat transfer coefficient. These heat exchangers consist of pressed plates made up of metals like carbon steel or stainless steel (SS 304, SS 316) that are brazed with copper or nickel. The unit’s stainless steel plates are vacuum brazed together to form a durable, integral piece that can withstand high pressure and temperature.

Description

Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BHE) are liquid-to-liquid heat exchangers that are compact, efficient, and long-lasting. These heat exchangers are made up of stacked plates that are brazed together and usually corrugated to increase surface area and heat transfer. The effective counterflow design of brazed plate heat exchangers allows 90 per cent of the material to be employed for heat transmission. These heat exchangers can be up to 80% to 90% smaller than traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The brazed plate construction provides a heat exchanger that is durable, efficient, and long-lasting in harsh settings. Different working liquids and system requirements can be accommodated by changing the braze material and plate corrugation patterns. Water, Ethylene Glycol based Water Solution (EGW), and other popular coolants are compatible with our copper-brazed units. Deionized water, high purity fluids, and corrosive fluids can all be used in nickel-brazed plate heat exchangers.

We have one of the most comprehensive ranges of brazed plate heat exchangers in India, and our programme is constantly expanding. Many of these items are in stock and can be delivered the next business day in most circumstances.
